Max Lucado on Biblical Repentance

"The Greek word translated 'repentance' [metanoia] in the New Testament comes from two Greek words that mean literally 'to change the mind.' This is what repentance is: a changing of the mind about God, about one's condition, about the means of salvation. It is a turning of the heart."[1]

I really like Max Lucado's writing style; he's a very talented devotional writer! I remember when I was in Bible school, I purchased his book Six Hours One Friday. To this day, I'd probably still have to say that it's one of the best Christian non-fiction books I've ever read!
