2. amēn (ἀμήν): verily, truly, amen, so let it be
Mnemonics / Memory Aids:
A.) The English word “amen” is basically a transliteration of the Greek word; so spell out the Greek word with the corresponding English letters. The English word also sounds very similar to its Greek counterpart.
B.) A main truth of Scripture is affirmed by saying “Amen!”
C.) A main-tenance worker said “Amen!”
D.) A man saying “Truly, Verily, Amen!”
